Online Admission Form Filling Process for Gautam Bhuddha University Greater Noida

Welcome to Online Admission Process of गौतम Buddha University.

This video would help you to understand about courses offered by the university along with steps to submit online admission form.

Here is the workflow of admission process.

You need to Submit Online Admission Form with selection of Stream or Branch and Exam center (If Any).

 

You can upload required Documents like Marksheet, Category Certificate, Photo, Signature and Make Online Payment.

 

Admission Team Scrutinizes and Validates Application. Only completely filled form with payment would be considered as valid for further processing.

 

If there is Entrance Exam for your Course then you need to appear for it at Exam Center. You would get exam hall ticket in your login.

 

Admission would be granted based on Academic and Entrance Exam (if any). Please check brochure to know courses where entrance exam would be there and courses without any entrance exam.

Please note important dates of admission process. All the detailed information of dates and deadline is mentioned in the prospectus and on website. You can refer it for details.

Online Admission form filling would be activated on 14th March 2019.

Application deadline is different for courses according to entrance exam criteria.

 Now I would show you process to fill online admission form.

As you can see all the courses are listed on this web page. Courses are classified as per Under graduation, post graduation. Some of the courses have entrance exam as part of admission process.

In case of some of the PG courses, if you have appeared for any of the exams like CAT , MAT ,GMAT, CMAT, XAT,  CLAT or GATE with valid score then you can directly fill this section form. Those application forms have sections to enter your scores for the respective exams.

 

There are separate sections for PhD, M Phil and diploma admission courses.

You can click relevant section to fill online admission form for the respective course.

For the demo purpose,  I would show you how to fill form for B Tech.

I am clicking on Apply Online link  button for B Tech Course.

 

After clicking on this link you can see this section.

 

If you are visiting this page for the first time then you can create your profile by entering your First Name, Last Name,Email, your mobile   number and your preferred password along with city as shown on the screen.

Please note , you should enter correct email and mobile number as all communication related to admission would be sent to your email and sms on your mobile number.

You need to enter characters shown on the screen and click on Create an Account to Get Started.

After you are done with registration, you can login to start filling online admission form as shown.

As you can see, you are on the first section of the admission form. You need to read all instructions properly before starting form filling process.

You can click on instructions to read details along with rules and regulations.

 

After reading all the instructions, you can select checkbox and click on Proceed Ahead Button as shown.

In the next section, eligibility criteria would be shown for your respective course. In this demo I am applying for B Tech, so its eligibility criteria is shown on the screen. You need to go through this eligibility criteria and apply only if you are eligible for it.

 

You can click on Save and Proceed to move to the next section.

Your First Name would be shown in the field. It would be taken from your registration information.

 

You can enter your Middle Name as shown on application form.

 

Your last name of registration information would be shown here.

 

You can enter your Father’s or  Husband Name here.

 

 

You can enter your Mother Name here.

 

 

You can select appropriate gender option from Gender field.

 

 

You can enter your Date of Birth.

 

 

You can enter your Nationality if it is other than India.

 

 

Are You Resident of Uttar Pradesh ? You can select appropriate option yes or no accordingly.

 

 

You can enter Place of Birth here.

 

 

You can enter your Aadhaar Number. it is optional field.

 

 

Your Email and mobile no would be shown in non editable format. it would taken from your registration data.

 

 

 

You can select your Marital Status here.

 

 

Are you Sport Person ? you can select it accordingly.

 

 

You need to select  Category  which is applicable to you.

 

 

You need to select  sub Category  which is applicable to you. You can select none if other options are not applicable for you.

 

 

You can then click on save and proceed to move to next section.

Next section is for contact information. Here you need to enter your correspondence and permanent address details.

You can enter Address With City or Village details here

 

You need to type area Pin Code  here.

 

Based on your pin code selection, you can select appropriate  option for the Area.

 

Based on your pin code selection, you can select appropriate  option for the Tehsil .

 

Based on your pin code selection, appropriate  option for District would be shown.

 

Based on your pin code selection,  appropriate  option for State would be shown.

 

similarly you can enter your communication address. You can tick this button if it is same as per your permanent address.

 

System would auto fill all information  from  your permanent or home address.

You can click on Save and Proceed to move to next section.

 

Next section is related to your academic information.

 

Here you need to enter your marks of 10th and 12th standard

 

Here I am entering details of my 10th standard.

 

Enter name of your school or college here.

 

Enter name of the board or university Name here.

 

Enter year of passing in this text box as shown.

 

Enter your percentage as per your marksheet.

 

Please read instructions related to your percentage or CGPA related information.

 

There will be no rounding-off of the percentage of marks of qualifying examination while deciding the basic eligibility of any candidate for admission for e.g. if a candidate obtained 49.9% marks in his or her qualifying examination, then it will not be rounded-off to 50%. Therefore, the candidate is not eligible for that programme where the minimum requirement of marks is 50%. In case candidate for any reason fills the minimum % wrongly in the application form, he or she shall be solely responsible. Application Form fee shall be forfeited in such cases. 

 

In case of CGPA, If any Board or Institute or University awards only letter grades without providing an equivalent percentage of marks on the grade sheet, the candidate should obtain a certificate from the Board or Institute or University specifying the equivalent marks or the conversion procedure, and the conversion to percentage of marks would be based on this procedure as certified by the respective board or  University or institution. The original equivalence certificate needs to be submitted at the time of interview or counseling, as applicable and if shortlisted for the same. 

 

Similarly you need to enter marks for your 12th standard. If your 12th standard result is not declared then you can select option of appeared as shown here.

You can enter name of your school/college along with name of the board here.

 

In case if you have not appeared for 12th standard and you opted for diploma course after 10th standard then you can select option as other as shown here.

 

Since this is application form for B Tech, you need to enter information related to your Physics, chemistry and mathematics marks here. In case if you have selected option as appeared for 12th standard then this section would be grayed out and  you can proceed without entering those details.

 

You would be provided option to enter those marks for 12th standard after your results are declared. You would receive communication about process of entering those marks prior to admission counseling round.

 

In case of other PG  forms, you need to enter details of your 12th standard along with graduation details.

 

You can click on Save and Proceed to move to next section.

Since I am filling B Tech  form for Demo purpose, here I need to select exam center preference to appear for entrance exam. This section may not be applicable for courses where there is no entrance exam.

 

Here you need to select maximum 4 preferences for location of your entrance exam. You can define preferences and their priority as shown on the screen. You can select State and city of your preference. Your entrance exam would be scheduled in the respective exam center city as per your preference.

You can remove particular preference and add new if you want to change it.

 

You can click on Save and Proceed to move to next section.

 

This section is for document upload.

Here you need to upload your photograph, your 10th standard mark sheet, your sign image copy. If you have selected options of category or sports person etc then you need to upload supporting certificate scan copy here.

 

You can click on Save and Proceed to move to next section.

Here you need to read all information or disclaimer carefully. You can go to previous section if you wish to edit any section of the application form.

 

You can also click on preview section to see your filled application form.

There is submit button available. If you click on submit application form then  your admission application would be submitted and you would not be able to edit any information at later time. SO it is advised to carefully re check all sections of the admission form to ensure that all information is filled accurately.

 

After clicking on submit button, you would be directed to make payment of the admission form fee. You need to click on make payment link to proceed to make online payment using internet banking or debit card or credit card or mobile wallet based payment.

 

Your admission form would be considered valid only if your online payment is successfully accepted by the system.

After payment confirmation would be receive confirmation email and sms. Application form number would be mentioned in such communication. You can note down that number for further correspondence with the university.
