Ø   The Management will not meet any parent regarding Jr. Kg verification or admission.

Ø   Jr. Kg lucky draw dates will be notified later on the School Notice Board.

Ø   Names of selected students for the lucky draw will be informed by SMS and will also be displayed on the Primary School Notice Board.

Ø   Henceforth all the notices will be displayed on the School notice board. Parents are requested to refer the same.

HISTORY

St. Xavier’s High school is an English Medium School founded in 1957, at the ardent request of the people of Kolhapur. The school is recognized by the Government of Maharashtra and prepares pupils for the Secondary School Certificate Examination. It is owned by the Poona Jesuit School’s Society.

The Society of Jesus, to which the Jesuit Fathers and Brothers belong, is Christian Religious Order founded by St. Ignatius of Loyola in 1540. Active in the field of education throughout the world since its origin, the Society conducts in India nearly 100 high Schools and over a dozen colleges in which thousands of young people, belonging to every social class, community, linguistic group and religious.

OBJECTIVES

The education we impart includes physical, emotional and intellectual development as well as acquisition of useful skills in all of which they aim at excellence.

We also cater to all round development of the students.Being at the service of the whole country, St. Xavier’s accepts students from every caste, creed and community and strives to educate them in the height ideals of humanism and unselfish service of their fellowmen and women. Hence the purpose of this school is not only to impart instruction but also to educate the student.
